This collection was first woven on a backstrap loom and then embroidered by a cooperative of women. This collection of embroidered cushion covers is called "The Storytellers" because each one tells a story, depicting scenes from all over Guatemala. A true piece of Guatemalan history, these multicolor pillows are made entirely from cotton with colorful scenes and figures. It takes these artisans more than twenty-four hours to complete each beautiful piece of intricate artistry.

Each cushion has a different design, so each is unique. The ones in these photos are a reference. Please see here for images of available pillows.
