When creating the line, owner Tashah Johnson was inspired by the thought of spreading light in to the lives of others. Coupled with her love of the idea of filling a space with delightful scents, Candlessentials was born.
These candles gives back to nature with their seed embedded boxes, offering not only an aesthetically pleasing experience, but also a different take on disposing of packaging. Their boxes are created with handmade, 100% recycled, bio-degradable, paper infused with non-GMA wildflower seeds.
The Flora candle is ideal for use in your bedroom, living room or master bath. Its rich orange blossom scent is beautifully complemented by notes of ylang ylang and gardenia for an aroma that evokes thoughts of walking through a meadow of sweet tuberose. Hints of white musk tie floral notes together for a lovely floral experience.
Each candle is packaged in handcrafted, wildflower seed embedded boxes. Plant the box in your favorite spot and enjoy their beautiful blossoms.
In an effort to provide funding to organizations doing important work in our communities, each month Candlessentials donates a percentage of sales to charities that align with our vision.
For the month of June 2021, 5% of profits were donated to the Center for Black Equity, an organization dedicated to improving health and wellness opportunities, economic empowerment, and equal rights for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
